Meet The Team

Sean and Jennifer Bishop have been married for 19 adventurous years! After walking through 6 years of infertility God planted His heart for adoption in the soil of their hearts and that seed has grown into a full blown ministry.

In 2024, Chosen Ministries was born out of a deep desire to see children placed in loving Christian homes at minimal cost to families.

Sean is passionate about airplanes and uses his aviation skills to fly for Angel Flight Ministry, transporting patients to medical appointments that otherwise would be impossible for them to reach.

Sean and Jennifer live in Phoenix, AZ with their sons, Jaxson and Cash.

Richard and Monica Sotolongo began Abide to Love (based on John 15) as an expression of their family’s journey with Jesus. For years, they hosted orphan children from other countries, served as foster parents, and adopted three children with special needs from Ukraine. They also moved their family to the inner city, serving as missionaries.

Monica and Richard are currently providing discipleship to families through their books, curriculum, and e-courses to strengthen family. Their Restorer Family Program is built to engage the church and provide an alternative to help families in crisis before they ever need to enter the foster care system.

The big, fun Sotolongo family lives in sunny Florida, where Richard also serves as a school headmaster.

Mandy Metzler and her husband Rushton began this ministry in 2022 by simply giving their “yes” to a repeated whisper from the Lord calling them to…”prepare for babies.”

As Executive Director at Prepare for Babies, Mandy oversees the ongoing mission of providing a safe and loving home for pregnant women in crisis while equipping them to build abundant lives rooted in Jesus Christ. They aim to create a community of empowered mothers who have embraced their God-given worth and the value of their children and future generations.

She has always had a heart for babies and children and takes seriously the biblical mandate to care for the orphan and the widow. This led them to seek The Fathers heart for a solution to a major problem of orphanhood in our generation. They believe every life is precious and an expression of the image of God. The Lord has gifted them with two biological sons, Knox and Luke, and adopted daughter Tatem. Rushton and Mandy believe strongly in the power of the spirit of adoption over this generation and generations to come.

The Florczykowski’s life sovereignly collided with the trafficking epidemic when their daughter was pulled from her arms in a thwarted abduction. This surreal experience inspired Amanda’s online caution, unexpectedly garnering 60+ million readers, thus signifying families’ desperate need for truth.

Convicted, Amanda penned now two books, speaks, and serves alongside her beautiful family in pro-manumission advocacy, to include her role as CEO of Able Moms International.

An entrepreneur at heart, Aaron has successfully run and expanded Luminous Services for over 17 years.

Together, Aaron and Amanda are raising five adventurous kids, exciting businesses, and life-giving ministries. They enjoy welcoming guests around their big fat farmhouse table.

Elissa had a career in the business sector before radically shifting into home life and ministry. She became a stay at home mom to focus more on her young children and prayer. She was later led to start a ministry sharing prophetic words and Bible teachings. Many of her prophecies and visions are about children and the restoration of families. Elissa is passionate about helping others grow in their relationship with God and to hear Him for themselves. She is featured across various platforms. Elissa also supports her husband in his ministry and profession as they raise and nurture their family.

Elissa is honored to help co-lead intercession for The Table. She believes wholeheartedly in the power of prayer and is first and foremost a prophetic intercessor with a special emphasis on children and families.

Connecting Hearts Ministry is a nonprofit organization founded in 2022. We are located in Solano County, California. As a foster parent Tina saw a severe need for support and resources for children and families who found themselves navigating the foster care system. A seed was planted in her heart to create a ministry that truly showcased the love of our Father. It is our mission to bring awareness to the foster care crisis across the nation. We aim to build a loving, supportive community, making a difference for one child at a time. A community where children and families can receive healing, support, resources, education and feel the love of Christ. Our goal is to eliminate the dire need for foster care.

Tina lives in California and has experienced the power of prayer in her own life and ministry.
